I chose this topic because 20's advertisements are very interesting to me. They are so much different from the advertisements we have now. They usually have a lot more writing or hand drawn pictures on them. It looks like they took more time into making the advertisements. It was also the first time in history where advertising was a big way to make money.
Advertising change life for Americans in many ways. Companies would try to compete for more customers. That made advertising huge and made it hard to kind of get a way from it. It was mainly directed towards the average citizen to get them to buy the product. Advertising made Americans want to buy something. Even if the advertisement stretched the truth.
